French statistics agency Insee revised upward its reading of third-quarter economic growth Friday, underscoring the acceleration of the eurozone’s second-largest economy in recent months.
French gross domestic product rose 0.6% quarter-on-quarter, 0.1 percentage points higher than the previous reading, Insee said.
Consumer spending accelerated and business investment remained firm in the third quarter, Insee said. Stock building offset most of the drag from net trade, the figures showed.
