Spain’s retail sales grew at a faster pace in September, data from the statistical office INE showed Friday.
Retail sales climbed 2.1 percent on a yearly basis in September, following August’s 1.7 percent increase.
Unadjusted retail sales increased 2.2 percent versus 1.8 percent rise a month ago.
Month-on-month, retail sales rose 0.4 percent in September, following August’s 0.1 percent increase. This was the second consecutive rise in sales.
Food product sales advanced 1 percent and non-food product sales gained 0.5 percent in September.
